Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS)
Mobile Elevating Work Platform – M.E.W.P. previously referred to as aerial lifts.
This course replaces the Aerial Lift course.
This course presents the new MEWP classifications, both groups and types. The course covers the updated design and use standards, inspection criteria, familiarization processes, stakeholder responsibilities and fall protection and rescue considerations.
The course includes the following topics
- Rules and Regulations
- Duties of Stakeholders
- Types of Lifts
- Inspections
- Operations
- Fall Protection
- Power Lines and Other Hazards
This course should coincide with hands-on training with various MEWP types.
Final Exam Policy
1. Users are granted two attempts to pass the Final Exam.
2. After the first attempt, if unsuccessful, users may review their missed questions before taking the second attempt.
3. If a user fails both Final Exam attempts
The user must repurchase the entire course.
The user is required to retake all course materials in full.
Only after completing these steps will the user regain access to the Final Exam.
Important: Failing both exam attempts necessitates buying and retaking the entire course. There are no exceptions to this policy.
