Basic Rigging Principles
The Intermediate Rigging course is for individuals who are working with synthetic rope and slings while lifting light loads. Some of the chapters that are covered in this course include OSHA Legislation; Rigging Safety Factors; Various Synthetic Ropes; Tying Knots in Ropes; Rope Inspection; Wire Rope Properties; Synthetic Sling Characteristics and Inspection; Sling Angle Load Calculations; Rigging Equipment Inspection and Loading; and Block Loading Calculations; among others.
