The purpose of this course is to teach participants the kinds of information that can be obtained by reading electrical system diagrams and to illustrate how this information can be used to assist lineworkers who work on electrical systems. Practical examples of how to get information are given throughout the course.

At the conclusion of this course, participants should know what kind of information is typically found on construction diagrams, on schematic diagrams, and in specification manuals. They should know how to use all of these references to determine the information necessary to do a job.
