This overview of PSM will provide a basic understanding of what PSM is and the topics that comprise it. PSM addresses Highly Hazardous Chemicals identified by OSHA and the process industries. These chemicals require safety considerations over and above normal chemicals. These safety considerations are the basis of PSM.
